About Me Picture

I see you would like to learn a little bit more about me. Thank you for your interest! I have divided the about me page into three main categories:

Education

Work Experience

My Personality

Education

I am a graduate of the post-graduate Integrated Marketing Communications program at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario. I have a joint Honours BA in English and French Language and Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University.

My undergraduate degree in language and literature has given me a unique perspective on marketing communications. Not only has this background refined my writing skills, but it has also cultivated my love of word play and creative writing.

Right now, I am interested in exploring visual communication, brand identity development, and community engagement through experiential marketing. My Language and Lit background means my ideas come enriched by my aptitude for imagery, metaphors, symbolism, and non-verbal communication, which I bring to every project.

My career goal is to marry my love of literature and the arts with marketing communications in a career that is both rewarding and challenging. I want to help the art and culture sector grow in Waterloo Region and I would love to grow with it.

My Personality

I am an energetic extrovert. My personality is very much ENFP. I’m an intuitive, creative, leader. A big picture thinker. A free spirit. An out-of-the-box rebel. A feminist. A team player. A crafty crafter. An idealist and an optimist.

I’m the office party planner. I love making connections and I excel at forging and maintaing relationships. I am a client-facing leader. I want to learn about people: what excites or angers them? what motivates them?

There’s just so much energy compressed in my compact, 5’2 frame and it has nowhere to go but out. I have the energy and enthusiasm of a hummingbird and the steadfastness of a bullet.

My colleagues would describe me as someone who is overflowing with ideas and energy. I am always willing to take on projects head-on and will work until the wee hours of the morning to get something done right. But when it comes to office parties, you will definitely catch me on the dance floor.

ENFPs know how to relax, and they are perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist in the workplace to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor

I am:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Open-minded and friendly
  • An excellent communicator
  • Spontaneous and adaptable
  • Observant and curious
